Position Summary:
We are looking for Loan Officer Assistants or a Jr. Loan Officers to be able to help structure loans, calculate income, run DU/LP and handle multiple deals at once for busy Loan Agents..

3+ years’ experience in mortgage origination preferred
1+ years’ experience utilizing Encompass
Experience with Conventional, Jumbo, FHA and VA loans
Complete understanding of investor guidelines
Calculate W2 and 1099 Income including knowledge of Tax Returns — Business and Personal
Ability to handle busy desk with minimum of 20 files per month
Timely communication to Lenders, Loan Agents, Processors, Underwriters, Title and Escrow
Attention to detail, able to solve problems
Complete understanding of the process of files from origination through to funding
Self-managed

Position Title: Processor
Position Summary:
Job responsibilities include reviewing and verifying loan documentation for income, credit, appraisal, title insurance, etc., and ensuring the information is complete, accurate and complies with company and lender policies and guidelines.
Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, vendors and clients, work under pressure, multitask, work in a team environment, and manage an assigned pipeline in order to meet approval and closing expectations. This job also requires the ability to work with loan officers, in a fast paced environment, to obtain missing or updated documentation in order to process the mortgage loan in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
Residential loan processing and pre-underwriting of files 25 — 35 active files per desk, while closing a minimum of 15-25 a files per month.
Analyze credit income and asset documentation for an underwriting decision for pre-qualification and submission to wholesale and retail lenders within 24-48 hour time frame.
Perform pre-underwriting assessment based on Portfolio, FNMA/FHLMC, jumbo and Gov’t guidelines and lender parameters per DU/LP findings.
Thorough and knowledgeable appraisal review.
Thorough and knowledgeable review of purchase contracts and ability to coordinate effectively with all parties involved.
Prioritize and monitor daily workflow in order to ensure all loans are being worked on in accordance with company’s timeline expectations.
Requirements:
2+ years of loan funding experience in a mortgage banking company and/or
financial institution is required.
2+ years of experience working with FNMA/FHLMC guidelines and standard industry
guidelines is required.
2+ years of experience with state and federal lending regulations (e.g. Respa, Reg Z, Ecoa, State Fair Lending) is required.
Strong knowledge of state specific mortgage loan documentation is required
Working knowledge of Encompass in support of Correspondent Lending Channel is
preferred
1 + years of Encompass knowledge
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel, customers, and outside agencies.
Analytical skills are required.
Ability to pay close attention to detail, and work under deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to cope with a rapidly changing regulatory environment.

Position Title: Underwriter
Position Summary:
The Underwriter reviews documentation, including 1003, credit reports, income and assets, and property documentation in accordance to agency, non-agency, delegated and non-delegated underwriting guidelines. The Underwriter will make the final loan decision on delegated loans.
They will review specific guidelines to ensure that each loan risk is properly managed on a loan-by-loan basis. Employment Type: Full Time

Responsibilities:
Underwrite loan files to agency, non-agency, delegated and non-delegated guidelines.
Review credit report, applications, etc. to ensure that each loan meets company standard.
Evaluate income documentation to determine acceptable risk of an applicant based on analysis of W2’s, pay stubs, personal and business tax returns.
Utilize expertise and underwriting knowledge to render sound, common sense decisions based on analysis of loan parameters and documentation.
Ensure that the validation of AUS information is accurate.
Communicate with Underwriting Manager to advise of any sales processing issues.
Maintain excellent customer service skills, enhancing the customer service experience with all internal and external customers.
FHA underwriting experience a plus
Requirements:
5+ years underwriting experience
Encompass – Minimum 1 year hands-on experience
Delegated and non-delegated underwriting experience
Solid experience in underwriting multiple loan types
Understanding of all compliance regulations and investor guidelines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Computer skills including, MS Word, Excel and loan processing software
